Overview
The Haiti Business Accelerator (HBA) is a co-working space and business resource center where companies share office space and resources to make it cheaper and easier to manage day-to-day operations in Haiti. Instead of each company bearing the burden of managing their own office as well as basic finance, HR, and administrative functions, they can leverage an existing team, processes, and tools. This ranges from the management of payroll and tax payments to bookkeeping, fiscal administration (permit, patente and quitus renewals) and HR management. The advantage is that companies can reduce their cost of setup and operation while accelerating their time to market in Haiti. More importantly they can focus on their core competence to succeed in Haiti.
The HBA is managed by DloHaiti, a Haitian company run with both international and local expertise. DloHaiti makes its office and back office staff available to other companies so that it can share its cost of overhead while making it easier for other companies to do business in Haiti. By facilitating basic execution and lowering startup costs, we hope Haiti can attract more business investment, something that will help everyone in Haiti.
