PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (sentinel.ht) - Senator Steven Benoit (West/Alternative) presented evidence, on Tuesday, of First Lady Sophia Saint Remy Martelly's birth in New York in 1965 and said an issue of fraud likely exists, for when she applied for her first Haitian passport in 2009, multi-nationality was not legal.
Benoit was at the Departmental Electoral Office (BED) of the West on Tuesday to bring the evidence he had and observe the state of the proceedings taking place on challenges to registrations of aspiring legislative candidates.
