• PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (sentinel.ht) - The United Nations Mission for Stability in Haiti (MINUSTAH) held a ceremony on Wednesday for Sergeant Rordrigo Andres Soto Sanhueza, a member of the Chilean battalion who was killed Monday, April 13, 2015, during a protest in Ouanaminthe.
  
  The ceremony was held at the MINUSTAH military base in Port-au-Prince, in the presence of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in Haiti, Sandra Honoré, Chilean Deputy Minister of Defence, Marcos Robledo, the Prime Minister of Haiti, Paul Evans, representatives of the diplomatic community in Haiti, the Chilean military and civil authorities and representatives of civilian, military and MINUSTAH police.
  
  "The loss of Sergeant Soto is a painful event for both Chile and its armed forces for MINUSTAH," said Marcos Robledo who represented the Government of Chile, adding that he "sends condolences and solidarity of the Government of Chile to his wife, his two son and his family for Haiti".
