Christian Loubeau, Economic & Commercial Officer of the U.S. Embassy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and Norma Powell, Director of CFI (Center for Facilitation for Investments) of Haiti are hosting a conference call with the Haitian Diaspora on January 27th at 12:30 PM. The call will allow members of the diaspora community to learn more about CFI's work, and ask specific questions related to investing and doing business in Haiti. This will be the first of four conference calls between Haitian institutions and the diaspora related to investment opportunities.

CFI Haiti
The CFI is Haiti's national investment promotion agency. It works to attract investments that contribute to the development of the country, diversify the economy, strengthen supply chains, and generate jobs. The CFI actively supports investors during all stages of their investment decision-making process, providing a range of services that help investors learn about business opportunities and navigate Haiti's legal and regulatory framework when establishing an enterprise. The CFI is an autonomous entity within the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and benefits from the active participation of both the public and private sectors on its Board of Directors. CFI collects no fees for the services provided to investors.
